Learn Botany - Parts of Plants 3.2

This educational application offers an engaging exploration of botany through interactive puzzles and activities, developed in collaboration with a highly experienced Montessori educator certified by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).

In the first activity, users can learn about the various parts of plants, including leaves, flowers, and trees. By interacting with a photo strip, users can select specific plant parts to see them highlighted on diagrams. Audio prompts provide correct pronunciation guidance, enhancing language development. Additionally, users can familiarize themselves with the names of different leaves and flowers.

The second activity features plant-themed puzzles inspired by traditional Montessori materials. The initial puzzle requires users to identify specific plant parts by selecting the blinking piece on a diagram; upon correct selection, the piece moves into place, accompanied by an auditory confirmation of its name. The subsequent puzzle involves matching plant parts based on their names; for children who cannot read, the name can be tapped to hear it aloud, facilitating recognition and learning. Users also have the option to assemble puzzles in any order they prefer, supporting flexible engagement.

An additional matching puzzle enables users to identify various examples of leaves and flowers, further solidifying their understanding of plant diversity.

This application was thoughtfully designed and reviewed by an AMI-certified Montessori teacher with over forty years of experience in child education, ensuring its alignment with Montessori principles and educational standards.
